W. Schnitger GmbH Chooses Bronto Skylift S 56 XR
W. Schnitger GmbH has been using a new Bronto Skylift S 56 XR in its rental fleet for a few weeks. The company, located in Northeim, Lower Saxony, Germany, has been a long-term Bronto service partner.
W. Schnitger chose the Bronto Skylift S 56 XR unit, built on a Scania chassis, because of the superb performance of the XR series. The unit is equipped with a 600 kg cage that can be extended up to 3.8 m and the highly flexible Sky-Jib. It also comes with additional options, such as a BW1100 boom winch with a lifting capacity of 1,100 kg, a CW400 cage winch with a lifting capacity of 400 kg, and a wireless remote control for booms. A hydraulically driven generator supplies 400V/230V to the cage, which enables the use of electric power tools.
Other companies have also confirmed the versatility of the unit in many different tasks. These include the companies in PartnerLIFT, a cooperative association of independent, medium-sized hire firms for aerial work platforms located in Germany and other European countries.
Thomas Mayr from Bronto Skylift Germany has proudly handed the unit over to Walter Päuser, the owner, Daniel Wenzel, Managing Director, and Andreas Bub, Sales Manager, all from W. Schnitger GmbH.
