Bronto Skylift will be participating in CTIF Villach 2017, an international fire brigade competition held in Villach, Austria, on July 9-16, displaying its FL 45 XR aerial ladder platform.
With its 26.5-meter outreach, the FL 45 XR represents the best performance of the 40+ meter units available. The rescue height of the unit is 45 meters, and the transportation length of the unit is less than 10 meters. The unit is built on Scania chassis P410 LB6x2*4MNA, and the overall construction weight has been decreased without compromising safety and official regulations. The working cage is spacious and versatile, and there’s a smooth access to the ladders and rescue platform. Ergonomics in the turntable control station are completely on a new level, and Bronto+ control system guarantees maximum outreach in any situation and provides smooth, safe and very accurate movements even in most severe operating conditions.
This year a record number of participants is expected to visit CTIF Villach 2017 event. There are many accompanying programmes in addition to the traditional competitions such as firefighting and obstacle races, and Bronto Skylift’s unit will surely arouse interest among the visitors. CTIF is the international fire and rescue competency and information network, representing five million fire fighters who protect a population of one billion people every day. CTIF stands for International Technical Committee for the Prevention and Extinction of Fire, and is nowadays recognized as the International Association of Fire and Rescue Services.
CTIF has 36 member countries as ordinary members and nearly 50 associate members, among them several private and public organizations such as fire equipment manufacturers, fire and rescue associations and training centres.
CTIF is famous for the international competitions it organises every two years. These competitions are attended by more than 3.000 fire fighters and youth fire brigades from around the world. This year the event is the 16th International Fire Brigade Competition and 21st International Youth Fire Fighters Gathering and will be held in Villach, Austria, on July 9-16.
